The plane made an unscheduled stopover and the pilot explained that there would be a 60 minute delay. ‘A very slight technical problem,’ he said. Everybody got off the plane except one blind gentleman who was a frequent flyer. His name was Keith and he was blind. Keith’s seeing-eye dog lay alert and quietly underneath his seat in front of him as he always did.

When all the other passengers disembarked he pilot approached Keith, and asked him,
“Keith, would you like to get off the plane for a while and stretch your legs?” The Keith replied, “No thanks, Jim, but maybe my dog would like to stretch his.”

The pilot replied,
“I’ll take care of that.”  Putting on his cap and sunglasses, he left the plane with the dog. All the people in the gate area came to a complete standstill when they looked out and saw the pilot walk off the plane with a seeing-eye dog! They scattered in every direction. They not only tried to change planes, they were also trying to change airlines!

Before we dismiss someone else’s actions outright, it is good to reflect: things are not always be as they seem. Oftentimes there are other considerations.
