“Justice is not weighing and balancing, as if it could be measured and parcelled out, for justice is a function of love and love can never be measured.”

Of the 58 priests who are active in parishes, some 28 of these are over the age of 65. Only seven priests are under the age of 50.

Welcoming Fr Seán Mulligan’s ordination, the Diocesan Administrator of Clogher, Mgr Joseph McGuinness, said his answer to God’s call was a “great grace and joy to the whole diocese”.

We have lost a deeply committed and faithful priest, whose gentle devotion and kindness endeared him to his fellow priests and to all whom he served.
