Manuscript contains “considerable body of new information which will help re-evaluate the history of St Mary’s Abbey and the civic life of Dublin in the 14th and 15th centuries”.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is Manuscript 338 containing the ‘Canticle of the Sun’.

High point of year-long celebrations will be events to mark feast day of Columcille in June.
