Churches will gain access to a repertoire from top sacred music publishers including The Taizé Community, The Iona Community, Oregon Catholic Press, GIA Publications, Inc., the Royal School of Church Music, Oxford University Press, Hope Publishing, Kevin Mayhew and many more.

Renowned composer of liturgical music, Fr Michael Joncas, who wrote ‘On Eagles Wings’ and ‘I Have Loved You’, is to direct summer school and conference in July at Maynooth.

Music by Irish composers will feature prominently at the Mass, along with a handful of international composers.

The initiative aims to promote liturgical music in second level schools as well as in parishes throughout the diocese.

Mass will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Cappella Giulia.
