Renowned composer of liturgical music, Fr Michael Joncas, who wrote ‘On Eagles Wings’ and ‘I Have Loved You’, is to direct summer school and conference in July at Maynooth.

More than 100 singers and musicians from around the country are attending the summer school, which runs from Wednesday 27th June to Saturday 30th June.

Up to 200 choristers and musicians attend summer school in Maynooth to hone their musical skills and realise they are 'not alone'.

Interest in sacred music continues to grow. Summer schools planned for July in St Patrick's College Maynooth and in August for Cistercian College Roscrea.
