“Normally you would have had graduation ceremonies and Masses, and I know how much you miss not having those important moments in your school life. This has been an extraordinary year and a particularly extraordinary couple of months,” said Bishop Denis Nulty.
“Thanks to this digital technology many of us have been helped to remain in ‘spiritual communion’ with Christ and with one another,” said Archbishop Eamon Martin.
In his Chrism Mass homily at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, Bishop Denis Nulty said the Covid-19 crisis had in a matter of a couple of weeks turned upside-down the economy, personal lives and our understanding of ‘normal’.
