Bishop Leahy asks for faithful in all parishes of Limerick to hold prayer services next Tuesday as diocesan clergy meet with him.

New approach will see priests work across different parishes and while there won’t necessarily be a priest living in every parish, there will be a parish priest for every parish.

“Save for Pope John Paul II’s visit to Limerick in 1979, this is probably the most important moment for the Church in this diocese since the last Synod, all of 80 years ago.”
