The premise of SLS20 is to teach teachers to teach and live out the Great Commission.
On 13th October 2017, Limerick Diocesan Archives and the Department of History, Mary Immaculate College, will host a one-day conference to assess the legacy of Bishop Edward Thomas O’Dwyer of Limerick, on the centenary of his death.
While the theme of the conference is around taking lessons from sport, which currently plays a huge role in rural Ireland, the conversation on the night will embrace broad issues affecting rural areas and trying to re-imagine ways to revitalise them.
