School has a fine reputation in hurling - the entire six backs from last Sunday’s All-Ireland winning Tipperary hurling team are past pupils.

'The All Ireland Behind Barbed Wire' airs on RTE Radio today and tells the story of the unique GAA football match between Kerry and Louth in Frongoch in July 1916.

For 15 years, Dublin All-Ireland football hero, Alan Larkin, has been organising the rosters for the Ministers of the Word in Beaumont Hospital and in his own parish.
