Father Paul Churchill was ordained in June 1977 for the Archdiocese of Dublin. Following some years as teacher chaplain to schools in the Bray area he began his studies in Canon Law at the Gregorian University Rome.
In March 1983 he was appointed auditor at the Dublin Regional Marriage Tribunal, returning to Rome five years later to finish his studies and complete a Doctorate in Canon law. He was appointed judge-instructor at the Marriage Tribunal in 1993 and while continuing to serve on the Marriage Tribunal, was appointed Assistant Chancellor in the diocese until 2004.
Today Fr Paul is the Judicial Vicar in the Archdiocese of Dublin and heads the Marriage Tribunal. Alongside this work he has served in the parishes of Little Bray, Killester and St Anthony’s, Clontarf. he has also served as chaplain to the Carmelite Monastery of Hampton, Gracepark Road, Drumcondra and as spiritual director to the Legion of Mary.

The general theme that Fr Paul will explore is The Eucharistic Presence of the Crucified Hero. With Mary we adore him. It will include some testimonies from people who have opted to follow Jesus and serve him.
