Nothing will change in our society unless we do something about it. We cannot sit back and do nothing. As followers of Christ it is our calling to abolish hatred, prejudice, promote peace and to offer forgiveness. The Risen Christ has empowered us to bring about change in our own lives and in our communities. We are his hands and feet on earth, we are his eyes and ears, we are his mouthpiece.
Risen Lord, it can be so hard to offer love to everyone and to forgive those who have hurt me. I pray for the gift of patience, that I may learn how to love and to forgive without cost.
